The My Money Program is a free and confidential financial support service which assists families and individuals to maintain and sustain their tenancy. Information, support and advocacy is provided to assist clients to address identified financial problems and manage financial situations more effectively.

What help can I get?
The My Money Program can help you to:
manage debts (e.g. power bills, car loans, etc.)
sort out rent issues due to financial hardship
negotiate disputes with creditors
create budget plans to manage your money more effectively
be informed of your consumer rights and obligations
receive the correct entitlements and concessions
make a savings plan for the future
assess your housing affordability
refer to other supports and services that may help your situation
Am I eligible?
The My Money Program can assist you and your family if you live in the Cairns local government area and are:
living in the private rental market (through a real estate or a private landlord)
experiencing a housing crisis (living in crisis accommodation, or other housing emergency situation, e.g. couch surfing, overcrowding, in a motel, in the car, sleeping rough, etc.)
